Dangerous new worm on the iPhone

Security experts found that a new iPhone worm is circulating in Europe which is more dangerous than ever before. The worm is known as the “Duh” or “Ikee.B”. It uses the same flaw as the previous one. The default password of the SSH server. Protection of the worm consists in changing this password.

The worm is dangerous and causes the phone to connect to a server in Lithuania. Then expected instructions from hackers who can remotely manage the phone. After infecting the SSH password is changed with a new one. According to the cyber security agency Sophos, the new password that the virus uses is “ohshit” (hell).

Users who do not unlock their phones to accept the software other than Apple’s or have installed SSH server are not threatened by the worm.
