In the section below, we are going to use AirDrop to share your favorite tracks in your Apple Music on your iPhone or iPad. Keep in mind that you will only be able to share songs in your Apple Music, meaning that you cannot share the music in your library. Here we go.
Step one: First off, open Music app from your home screen and then select a song you wish to share from Apple Music
Step two: Next up, perform a 3D Touch firm press on that song (iPhone 6s or newer). If you own an older iPhone mode, simply long-press that song and then hit Share Songs
Step three: From the list of AirDrop recipients, select the contact you wish to share your Apple Music song with.
How to share Apple Music playlist with your family and friends
Apple Music now allows you to share your playlist with anyone on your iPhone and iPad. This is a great addition as it eliminates the need for a third-party app to be installed on your iPhone. Here is how (make sure you now have a playlist with soundtracks you wish to share with family and friends).
Step one: From the list of soundtracks, hit the Share button and then select your sharing option
Step two: Once you select a sharing option, Apple Music will start sharing your playlist with the recipient
Step three: The recipient will receive a link. Once they click on it, they will be taken to Apple Music.
To stop sharing your Apple Music playlist, go back to your playlist, then hit the Edit button and turn off the switch for Shared Playlist.
