watchOS 4 is now available for all users worldwide after months of beta testing. Apple’s latest version of smartwatch operating system is not a significant update, as it comes with small and welcome refinements. However, it includes a lot of smart features that make your daily life better. One such feature is Auto-launch Audio Apps.
As the name suggests, the feature automatically launches audio apps when you wake your watch’s screen while playing audio on your Apple Watch or iPhone. However, for some users, this behavior may be a little annoying. If you happen to sit in the group, it’s a good idea to disable the feature.
In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to turn off Auto-launch Audio Apps behavior on your Apple Watch. Before we begin, Auto-launch Audio Apps behavior is exclusive in watchOS 4, so make sure you have already updated the device.
