Manufacturers of Apple have begun to assemble the iPhone 5 in preparation for placing the product in October.
According Macotakara, Chinese “source” has released news that Foxconn and Pegatron have begun to assemble the iPhone 5, preparing to launch the smartphone in the U.S. in early October and in Asia in late October. Terms for other countries not mentioned.
The article also claims that after assembling the devices they are packed in boxes. This is because Apple is not ready to install iOS 5 on them, so this will probably happen later.
