Samsung requested iPad and iPhone ban in the U.S.

Litigation between Samsung and Apple – the two most powerful companies in the IT industry entered a new stage. South Korean giant asked the International Trade Commission (ITC) to ban sales of iPhone and iPad in the U.S.. Samsung take such a radical move, since Apple previously sued them in Korean court with charges of violating several patents, recalls intomobile.com.

Many analysts believe, however, that Samsung’s request is not realistic. Even if it is accepted for consideration by the court, the analysis will take years, during which time their mutual accusations will not affect in any way for ordinary buyers.

Despite the crisis in relations, Samsung and Apple are still partners, as South Korean manufacturer supplying key components for the devices from Apple.
