Step one: First off, you need to launch Google Assistant app from your home screen and then tap on the circle button located at the top right corner of the screen to proceed

Step two: Next up, you now need to tap on the menu button that’s dead at the top right corner of the app. From the list of options that pops up, you need to tap on Settings and then select Personal Info

Step three: On the next screen, tap Home & work locations section to reveal more options

Step four: Once you are in, you will see two options including Add home address and add work address. Tap Add home address to add your home location and tap Add work address to add your work location. Hit OK when you are done.

Once you are done, you now can ask the Assistant about your commute, so it will offer the shortest routes for your locations.
